One of most entertaining games this year. I really think the Sharks deserved to win in regulation but Rinne is damn good.

Preds lull you to sleep eh? The Preds are in the top 10 in scoring and they don't take chances?

In the 3rd period the Preds were all over the Sharks. How did that lull you to sleep?

The only reason that game put me to sleep wasa because it was 12:30 am

WTF was Havlat thinking when he intentionally tripped Pekka. That was something Burrows would do. I always though Havlat was a clean player but that was a dirty play.

Sharks are a good goalie away from being very dangerous. They also set a bunch of picks

And if he's too good, you can always send some acehole to trip him up to get him off his game.

He barely touched the goalie!!! You guys need to relax haha. Your goalie is tall as Frank! If he was St.Louis' size he wouldn't have fallen like that.
It was a good game and from the looks of how Rinne played, the ''blatant'' trip didn't seem to affect anything

Can we PLEASE stop putting Pavelski in the shootout - i think he's gone sour he only ever shoots. Goalies know he doesn't use the hands to dangle so thats why they're all cutting off the angles.

Great game last night. If you're a true hockey fan, that was a great game. No falling asleep here either.

They had a great view of the Havlat Rinne incident on the Sharks broadcast. Havlat BARELY poked his skate, stuff like that happens all the time in the NHL, just most goalies don't flop to the ice like they have been shot like Rinne did there.

I don't blame Rinne for trying to get his team a PP, but it wasn't a "dirty" play by Havlat, just a hockey play that happens all the time.

I told my wife the same thing about the supposed trip. The SECOND time Havlat did it, it wasn't much more than a tap. The problem I have is the first time he tried to do it was blatant and a can-opener type of move that if Havlat's foot had been there would have been deemed a slew-foot. I don't think Havlat is dirty by any means and he was trying to get Pekka of his game, but he should have stopped at the first try and left well enough alone. That is why I think Pekka reacted the way he did...do I like to see people flop around like a soccor player getting sniped by someone working the spotlight?...No...But do I want to see our goalie get hooked down around the knees this close to the playoffs? Hells no either.

Great game though...you would think with the high octane offense the Sharks have that these games would be higher scoring. Great goalie battle of the Finns. Best of luck (just not against us...you know how it is...)

I didn't get that comment either. In the past, sure... but this year's Preds team is one of my favorite to watch (although, the fact that I have Rinne, Weber, and Ellis on my dynasty team is probably another reason why )...

If you want a boring/clog it up team in the central, they play in St. Louis, not Nashville.

He's also stopped using what worked... come in fast, stop at the hash marks, and pick a corner while the goalie is still sliding back into the net. Funny thing too, as I've seen more and more players in the league using that tactic (and being successful with it!), but Pavelski (as the first one I saw use it 2 years ago) has stopped using it.

Exactly, God St. Louis is annoying!!!

I have Weber on my fantasy team, took him first overall, love Weber. I wish he was a Shark.

Rinne should have been called for a dive. Havlat tapped his foot & Pekka went down like he was hit with a bullet.

Speaking of Havlat, he looked pretty damn good considering how many games he has missed.

I agree, every time I saw him with the puck I got excited, because he was just so slick and pulling off some sweet moves. Though play of the night probably goes to Boyle for that sweet set of dekes through their team.

Yep. Filthy mits on Boyle, and of course Havlat, all night.
